Online discount UK motor insurance
Buy online and you
will usually get cheaper UK motor insurance, this online discount is on
offer to all drivers so it's a great way to save money with very little
effort.
.
Buying motor insurance
online is quick and simple. The first stage is to get a quote, but don't
stop at one as you are not committed to buying at that point. It only
takes minutes to complete an online proposal form so dedicate at least
an hour to visiting as many insurance websites as you can. If you saved
£100 for just one hours work that's a good return, think of it as
being paid £100 per hour. Even if you do not find cheaper insurance,
at least you will satisfy your curiosity and know that you have found
a good bargain.
Most online insurers
will allow you to spread the cost of motor insurance over a whole year
with a monthly payment plan by direct debit.
Typically an online
discount will be 10% or more and the pressure free method of obtaining
motor insurance quotes online makes this a great way to save on insurance.
Unlike an introductory
discount which are often only available to drivers over 23 and/or have
a full licence for at least 12 months, an online discount is open to all.
The 3 categories
of motor insurance are
- Third Party Only,
covers the policyholder against damage to a third party's property or
to the third party themselves, a Third Party Only policy will pay for
the repair to that other car, and will pay for any medical claims or
injuries suffered by the occupant(s) of that other car and any passengers
in your car other than you. A Third Party Only policy will not pay for
the costs of repairing your own vehicle nor will it pay anything toward
your medical expenses and if your vehicle is stolen or sets on fire,
a Third Party Only policy will not make any payment toward the theft
or repair of the car.
- Third Party Fire
& Theft, exactly the same as the Third Party Only policy, but will also
pay out in the event that your car is stolen or sets on fire.
- Fully Comprehensive,
will pay-out for third party damages and injuries, will pay-out in the
event of your car being stolen or set on fire, and will also pay for
any damage to your own car (regardless of whose fault the accident was).
